Half-Wave Dipole Kits
The W8AMZ ½ Wave Dipole Kits are made of all High Quality components and use Black Jacketed 14 Gauge Stranded Copper wire. This meets the requirements by the National Electrical Code for permanent residential installation. The center insulator does have a spark gap for lightning protection. They are built very tough to withstand the rough, high winds we have here on the shores of Lake Michigan and use light weight high quality PVC dog bone insulators.
They will handle the full legal limit 2KW. They can be setup in a traditional flat top dipole configuration or in a space saving Inverted V. Addition leads can be added to turn it from a single band to a multi band antenna.
My Dipole kits do require the wires to be cut to your desired resonant frequency. A very simple to use frequency chart is included with the Dipole Kit. Some say that their dipole kits are cut to work great on the entire band and that is simply Not True. They will require an antenna tuner to work the entire band, with reduced efficiency.

The W8AMZ ½ Wave Dipole Finished and Ready to Hang antennas are made of all high quality components and use black jacketed 14 gauge stranded copper wire. This meets the requirements by the National Electrical Code for permanent residential installation. The antenna also uses the long time proven W8AMZ Center Insulator that is also sold separately here on W8AMZ.com. It is a straight through center insulator and does have a spark gap for lightning protection. They are built very tough to withstand the rough, high winds we have here on the shores of Lake Michigan and use light weight high quality PVC dog bone insulators. And will handle the full legal limit 2KW.
This model of the W8AMZ ½ Wave Dipole Finished and Ready to Hang is cut for the middle of the band and due to the broad bandwidth of thess bands you can expect very good tuning results for your radio with a low SWR.
